The Sandusky
County Health Department is announcing the dates and times of their
seasonal flu vaccination clinics.
All clinics are for Sandusky County residents. The
Influenza vaccine is now recommended for ages 6 months and older.
There will be no H1N1 clinics this year as it is now included
in the seasonal flu vaccination.
Cost
of the vaccine is $20.00; Medicare and Medicaid will be accepted,
cards should be brought to the clinic.
Individuals
attending the clinics should dress in layers, with short sleeves
available for ease of vaccination; there will be no privacy.

The
Health Department expects that adequate amounts of vaccine will be
available this year, and encourages those attending not to arrive
early. Doors will open only as scheduled.

the number one way to prevent the flu is frequent handwashing!
