Flu Shots are still available. While a flu shot is recommended for all persons over 6 months of age, the following are considered high-risk and should make getting a flu vaccine a priority: The Centers for Disease Control recommend the influenza vaccine for: 1. People at high risk for
complications from flu, including: 2. People who live with or
care for those at high risk for complications from flu including: 3. All persons, including
school-aged children who want to reduce the risk of becoming ill with
influenza or transmitting influenza to others. Cost of the vaccine is twenty ($20.00) dollars. Medicare and Medicaid will be accepted if cards are brought to the clinic. If you have a current driver’s license, please bring it, also. Flu vaccines will be offered by the Sandusky County Health Department and Memorial Hospital HealthLink and Golden Threads Departments at their annual clinics. Local physicians may also have the vaccine available. Get a Flu shot and get it at the Right Time
