| Expectant mothers receive home visits
from a registered nurse to help prepare for the birth of a child.
All families of newborns are offered a home visit by a registered
nurse to provide information and check on the health of the baby and
mother.
Developmental screenings are done in a child's home up to the age of
three.
A service Coordinator is assigned to each family to assist them in
finding all possible services to help the child and their family.
Home visiting on a regular basis is provided to the children at risk for
developmental delays to provide educational and early literacy
activities. Up-to-date information on child health, growth and
development, parenting and community services is available to families
in their homes. |
