The cost is $22.00 each for Certified Birth/Death Certificates.
Records on file are from 1908 to present; earlier records are located at the
Sandusky County Courthouse. At this health department, certificates
are provided on demand if arriving in person. Certificates requested
via US Mail have same day turn around. All birth and death records are
maintained in the county where the birth or death occurs. Bellevue City (of
which part is located in Sandusky County) has their own health department.
We recommend you call ahead (419-334-6377) if you believe the birth or death
occurred in Sandusky County, to be sure we maintain the record.
To obtain a copy of a certified birth or death certificate by mail, you
may send a letter of request with a S. A. S. E. (Self Addressed Stamped
Envelope), and a check made payable to the Sandusky County Health
Department to:
